@ Grace Lutheran Church – 1124 N. Third Street 

Tuesdays @ 5:30 – 6:30 pm ~ Embodied Contemplation 

This unique class is a blend of classical yoga poses and mindful, creative exploration of movement, woven together with the breath and built around a contemplative or meditation practice. Along with the contemplation/meditation inherent in yoga, other practices from wisdom traditions including mindfulness meditation, compassion meditation and Christian contemplative practices will be integrated into classes.

Wednesday @ 9:30 – 10:30 am ~ Gentle+Restorative Yoga – Mid-week Reset 

This class finds you in the middle of the week to reconnect and ground yourself. We will begin with a variety of gentle movement and yoga poses to seamlessly move into all your favorite restorative yoga poses. Breathing, imagery and more are used to calm the nervous system and find more ease, less tension. The discoveries in this class will translate over to your yoga practice, any other movement, or just living and inhabiting your own body with more ease in day to day life.

Thursday @ 10:00 – 11:00 am ~ Yoga and Movement Exploration 

This class is a blend of classical yoga poses and creative explorations of movement all woven together with the breath. We mindfully move through the nuances, subtleties and foundations of a pose or movement to cultivate awareness.

Thursday @ 5:30 – 6:30 pm ~ Pilates Mat Class

This class focuses on honoring the natural design of your body to achieve increased strength, flexibility and balance. Pilates exercises are used along with other natural, dynamic movements to explore the full movement potential of your body. Using a variety of props – balls, bands and more – this class invites you to explore and be playful all with present moment awareness. All levels are welcome.

Monday and Wednesday @ 12:00 – 1:00 pm – All Levels Yoga

This class is a blend of classical yoga poses and creative explorations of movement all woven together with the breath. We mindfully move through the nuances, subtleties and foundations of a pose or movement to cultivate awareness.

Tuesday and Thursday @ 4:00 – 5:00 pm – Basic Yoga

This class engages in a variety of active and restorative yoga poses and other movements using yoga props to explore your own unique alignment. We mindfully explore the nuances, subtleties and foundations of a pose or movement to discover what works and feels best for you. Relaxation, breathing, imagery and more are also used to calm the nervous system and find more ease, less tension. The discoveries in this class will translate over to your yoga practice, any other movement, or just living and inhabiting your own body with more ease in day to day life. A great introduction for those new to yoga or those already practicing who wish to explore the basics more deeply.
